The three-part seminar covers everything a building design professional would want to know about working with traditional and emerging natural building materials. The seminar is eligible for OAA credits.

This workshop will be of particular interest to engineers, architects, building professionals, as well as engineering and architecture students.

This rare, one day seminar, is being given by Straw Bale building expert, Bruce King who is a pioneer in the field of green building and author of Buildings of Earth & Straw ; Structural Design for Rammed Earth and Straw-Bale Architecture, 1996, and Making Better Concrete; Guidelines to Using Fly Ash for Higher Quality, Eco-Friendly Structures, 2005. A practicing structural engineer for over 25 years, King is also the founder and director of Ecological Building Network, a nonprofit committed to collecting and disseminating information on green building design and construction. He is co-founder, with his wife, Sarah Weller King, of Green Building Press. He lives in Marin County, California.
